We were blessed to have our inaugural Philos, and Rhosebud affiliates in 2022 and our wonderful young Rhoers will soon follow. Our affiliate clubs are composed of our Rhosebuds (ages 8-11), Rhoers (ages 12-17) and Philo Friends (those women who chose not to pursue a 4-year degree). ( ) is a historically African American sorority, international collegiate, and non-profit community service organization that was founded on November 12, 1922, by seven educators on the Irvington campus (18751928) of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was incorporated within the state of Indiana in December 1922 and became a national collegiate sorority on December 30, 1929, when a charter was granted to the Alpha chapter. Our mission will always be to uplift and enhance the quality of life within our communities and with this in mind, it is our hope that you will consider partnering with us to work to create and support initiatives that align with our organization’s vision.
